Hair Analysis
Hair loss is the most common hair problem and a prompt diagnosis of the type is very useful in appropriate treatment.
Hair analysis is a test in which a sample of a person’s hair is taken and analysed under the microscope. Hair undergoes cyclical phases of growth, transition, and resting. At any time, 10-18% of the hairs on the human head are in the resting phase and 80-90% of the hairs are actively growing.
Dermascopy of the hair and scalp, done to visualize them at greater magnification, is called trichoscopy. It is a novel diagnostic technique, simple and non-invasive for diagnosing common hair and scalp disorders. The number of hairs, hair shaft diameter, abnormalities of scalp, skin color help to determine the modality and duration of treatment.

Hair Regrowth Treatments
There are various modalities of treatment for hair regrowth which are administered as stand alone or combination treatments.
- Iontophoresis
- Low level laser treatment for hair
- Stem cell / Growth Factor therapy
- Hair Injections
- Dermaroller
- PRP
- Combination treatments
- Dermaroller with PRP
- Dermaroller with Minoxidil
- Dermaroller with Growth factor/stem cell

Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy is a non-surgical medical technique which was first introduced in France over 50 years ago. It is a virtually painless injection of vitamins, minerals, medications, and amino acids just under the surface of the skin to deliver corrective treatment to a specific area. With the skin as the direct vehicle by which the body receives its treatment, quick results are achieved.
The common applications of mesotherapy:
- Spot weight reduction
- Hair loss
- Scar revision
- Cellulite reduction
- Wrinkle elimination

PRP
PRP is blood plasma that has been enriched with platelets. As a concentrated source of autologous platelets, meaning it comes from the patient’s own body, PRP contains several different growth factors and other cytokines that promote tissue repair, capillary formation and collagen production. PRP can be used in isolation or as an adjunct to other procedures. This is an effective way to enhance hair growth especially for more stubborn areas of hair loss i.e. receding hair line and crown.
The process involves the collection of whole blood which is centrifuged to separate the PRP from RBC’s. The PRP is then used either by multiple micro injections given on the scalp or by application post dermaroller.

Dermaroller
Dermaroller treatment is done for treating Acne Scars, Wrinkles, Pigmentation, and Hair loss. This process induces collagen production which is responsible for more strength and elasticity and fills up the depth of pits and thereby reduces the acne scars. The DERMAROLLER has special medical graded stainless steel needles that perforate the scar tissue easily. The scars become softer, leveled out, and in most cases give a natural appearance.
Microneedling with dermarollers on the scalp triggers the body’s wound healing response and helps in the development of new hair follicles. It also stimulates blood circulation and increases nutrient supply to the follicles.

Iontophoresis
It is an electrochemical process, in which a small direct current is used on the skin or scalp to deliver medication at a constant rate to a depth of 6-20mm. The treatment works on the principle that charged ions in the skin are either attracted or repelled from the electrodes resulting in certain chemical effects. It is a painless, sterile, non-invasive technique.
Used For:
- Hair fall
- Facial rejuvenation
- Hyperhidrosis (increased sweating)
- Nail Psoriasis

Thermolysis
Thermolysis was first described as a hair removal practice in the 1920s. Thermolysis works on radiofrequency and heats the hair matrix causing electrocoagulation. Thermolysis is a quick procedure where, in a fraction of a second, the hair follicle will be ready to be removed. It is helpful to remove grey hair.

LASER HAIR REMOVAL
Laser Hair Removal is a non-invasive technique that uses low energy laser beam to reduce undesirable hair from most parts of the body. For all practical purposes laser hair removal results in permanent hair reduction.
The laser beam passes through the patient's skin. The energy is delivered down the hair shaft and is absorbed by hair follicles that are in the active growth phase. This causes follicular damage and reduces hair production by that follicle.
